Trippin' on the fourth of July!

Karma To Burn and Sons of Alpha Centauri - The Definitive 7" Trilogy
Sons of Alpha Centauri and Karma to Burn return for a boxset of the split trilogy!

Over the past 10 years Karma to Burn and Sons of Alpha Centauri have engaged on an audio assault by ram raiding riff after riff into the instrumental stoner stratosphere. This cosmic mission commenced on star date 2007 when members of each band worked together on a project entitled 'Alpha Cat' resulting in the split collaboration album 'Last Day of Summer' released on Underdogma Records in 2009.

When the KTB reunion was fully confirmed then the floodgates opened and over the course of five years 3 split vinyls followed from both bands including the first of the DesertFest vinyl releases and multiple shows across the UK.

Karma to Burn will be back touring Europe this month and over the upcoming European tour they will publish, together with their friends of Sons of Alpha Centauri this strictly limited boxset as 'The Definitive 7" Trilogy!'  It will be released (trippin') on the 4th of July!

Limited to ONLY 200 copies it includes the whole set of Split-7" in a new color presentation together with:

  • A monstrous 28 page booklet with a behind the scenes history and making of, exclusive pictures & unseen artwork / sketches;
  • Collaborative companions like John Garcia, Alexander von Wieding, Jake & Reece (Desertfest London) and former KTB members;
  • Prologue from former label and website managers reinforcing the incredible story of the two bands;
  • An exclusive 7" of their collaboration 'Alpha Cat' (first time on vinyl!);
  • CD Version with all songs;
  • exclusive Promotion Postcards;
  • limited tour poster print;

This will be available for a very short period with 45 boxsets available from Karma to Burn on their European tour and 25 boxsets available from SOAC via our Bandcamp page.

2017 - Phase II Begins

Sons of Alpha Centauri would like to reflect on 2016 and say thank you for all your support. We would also like to thank all those who attended our performance with Yawning Man in London.

New Year's Day 2017 saw the launch of our next generation website along with our new band logo. The rebuilt version has been enhanced for mobile browsing and has integrated technologies such as YouTube and SongKick which make it the best place to keep up-to-date with SOAC. The website is the first of many updates and upgrades to the SOAC project.

2016 has seen the band committed to the production and recording of the second album. In advance of the new album we have been working with some excellent artists on some special exclusive and highly limited musical releases to bridge the eponymous and second album releases.

The build towards the second album has started… and after 10 years the album sleepers have awoken and Phase II begins!
