Debut Album Performance Start to Finish


"Sons of Alpha Centauri" are proud to announce that they will be performing their debut album in its entirety on Xmas Eve 2011. Local instrumental legends "Godcone" will be in support. The Ivy Leaf, Sheerness on Sea on 24.12.11. Doors 7pm.

SOAC are currently mastering the second vinyl in their instrumental collaboration series with "Karma to Burn". This limited edition 7" is due to be mastered at Abbey Road Studios in late 2011.
Previous SOAC releases are available via the new improved shop that was launched earlier this year.

Yawning Sons / WaterWays Split Record


You can now follow "Sons of Alpha Centauri" via the dedicated YouTube channel. New videos have been uploaded ready to watch plus you can watch all videos from the usual video page.

"Yawning Sons" are proud to announce the release of their split record with the new surf rock project from desert forefathers 'Gary Arce', 'Mario Lalli' and 'Tony Tornay' called "WaterWays". The record will be presented on limited edition heavyweight aqua blue 7" vinyl featuring new material from both acts. The record will be released worldwide on Christmas Eve 2010 and will be available with a thick card gloss poster as a limited package in the Shop.

"Sons of Alpha Centauri" would like to thank everyone who attended the "A Storm of Light" show in October and are currently in pre-production for the recording of the follow up to their debut album "Sons of Alpha Centauri".

The "Sons of Alpha Centauri" split 7" vinyl release with fellow instrumentalists "Karma to Burn" is now available through the Shop. This deluxe presentation on transparent vinyl features an exclusive new SOAC track and Karma to Burn track "14" remastered exclusively by SOAC.

Sons of Alpha Centauri Supporting Karma to Burn


16th June 2009 at the Camden Underworld, London, UK. Show Starts at 7pm

"Yawning Sons" the new SOAC collaboration project is due for release 15th June 2009 exclusively through Lexicon Devil Records.

"Yawning Sons" is the ambient progressive collaboration of "Sons of Alpha Centauri" and infamously influential Californian instrumental rock band "Yawning Man". The record also features guest vocals from Wendy Rae Fowler, Mario Lalli and Scott Reeder.

The finishing touches are also being made to the split release with "Treasure Cat" featuring members of legendary hard rock instrumentalists "Karma to Burn" due for release August 2009. For more details on these new collaboration projects please check the new Projects section.

The debut "Sons of Alpha Centauri" is now available for digital download worldwide.

"The Ether" Live Video Performance

"Sons of Alpha Centauri" are currently filming in a warehouse studio in Ashford for a slot on television programme "The Ether". The video comprises of interviews with the band and live performances of "23" and "2". The programme is set to air in late summer 2008.

SOAC have completed recording their collaboration project with West Virginian based driving riff rock outfit "Treasure Cat". The band comprises ex-members of legendary hard rock instrumentalists "Karma to Burn" and is currently in the mixing / mastering phases.

Debut Release

"Sons of Alpha Centauri" debut record is now available to order from all good record stores. The record will be released in digipack format and containing 12 movements recorded from the first 35 tracks composed by the band. Illustration has been completed by Seldon Hunt and the record mastered by James Plotkin. Ancillary merchandise is available on request.

The band are currently engaged in development of live media with local live shows being updated in synergy with the website and national shows currently being considered. Feedback is welcome and encouraged.
